Acticon is a video-based emoticon feedback service for amateur actors. The challenge was to connect amateur actors who are in disconnected practicing environments. This application helps amateur actors exchange feedback with others practicing the same character monologue lines. The design reflects three months of intensive user experience research and has been developed through iterative high-fidelity prototypes. Acticon's micro-interaction system is focused on details of interface structure that enable multiple functions conducted simultaneously while watching acting videos.
