The Cruise Terminal of Manta recalls the undulating motion of the sea. Dynamic aluminum trellis shape the façade, and protect the building from solar radiation. Diagonal patterns on floors and walls allude to the sway of sea waves, and its curvilinear canopy evokes the marine quality of its surroundings. The truss structure holding this canopy weaves itself with thin, metallic columns below, granting a sense of lightness and grandeur to the project. A suspended, stingray-shaped system of warm LED profiles lights the hall, accommodating the various needs of travelers and other users alike.
