The expansion of the hospital presumes the conservation of an institutional image focused on the patient, nature and a specific construction material. The objectives of the project were: to solve the urban and internal fragmentation of the existing complex, to connect people to the institutional image and to make patients and caregivers life better. The hospital performance has proven that the propitiated architectural conditions, have indorsed a better quality of life for the patients and caregivers.
