Human rights are important for everyone, but are not respected all over the world. That’s why, since 2012, Human Rights Tattoo is tattooing the 6773 letters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 6773 people worldwide. Together, all participants form a movement that stands up for human rights. Besides a physical artwork of a series of photographs of the letters, the artwork can now also be seen online at www.humanrightstattoo.org. Aim: to connect the current “tattoo family”, give the community a face and to reach and inspire people all over the world to take action for human rights.
