AHĀ-NEK is a minimal, elegant, sustainable cloth hanger. The innovative idea behind the design, is meant to protect clothing pieces with necks and fixed collars. The prototype was produced using leftover bamboo pieces, while the production is imagined to be based on local timber. The hanger consists of a pair of two wooden sticks. A small opening at the upper part of the thicker stick allows the thinner one to slide in and interlock. Aesthetically similar to chopsticks it does not only reproduce the shape, but also the logic; a quick and easy to assemble product with maximum efficiency.
