The goal of Maria Garcés, 73rd President of the UN General Assembly, was to change perceptions of the United Nations, increasing its meaning, relevance, and accessibility to young people. The core of the identity was the ‘Priorities Arrow’, a progressive, dynamic arrow-shaped logo in the ‘Global Goals’ colors. This was extended as an overlapping supergraphic across social media platforms and communications materials. The bold colors were applied to the Morning Minga informal discussion forum and the June 2019 Antigua-based PlayItOut music festival, which raised awareness of plastic pollution.
