Located in the protected zone of the Forbidden City, the 73-room hotel marks the brand’s debut in Beijing. The interiors were designed as a modern-day princely courtyard mansion, with a modern residential style combined with subtle traditional Chinese elements. A transit lobby greets guests with an open skylight court. Inside, a central water feature surrounded by dark stone facades and soft-lit lampshades pays homage to the ancient well. A large entryway leads into the main lobby where warm timber walls are trimmed with dark lacquer shelves, area rugs in autumnal colors.
