Dust is a contemporary dance production shaped by a design that enables space to be defined and unravelled through the dancers’ interaction with a manipulable installation. The deceivingly minimal design, that begins as a monolithic ‘wall’, plays a critical role in enriching and amplifying the narrative of the performance through transformation. It not only reflects the structures, barriers and borders that we all experience in life but also empowers the individual and community to recreate new foundations, expressing the ‘architecture of restriction and opportunity’.
