This social housing design aims to reproduce the local rice culture and history. The 〝sharing lifestyle〞and〝sharing entertainment〞are expected to be created between the young residence and public. Rice culture is the most essential part in Taoyuan's agriculture industry. The disposed rice straw is widely applied on the architecture as well as interior design. It is used for making furniture、partition walls、decorations and so on. In order to make visitors experience the real terrain and rice paddy before, the complex surface structure is designed as a rooftop rice paddy.
