The Oxnard Beach House was conceived by its owner as seasonal home away from home and a space for social gatherings. The design of the home couples intimate interior spaces with wide ocean views throughout all three of its levels. Each level addresses a different programmatic need, but all are joined by the main design element of the house: a central stair core, screened by louvers and flooded with natural light. This central stair provides both transparency and privacy. It anchors the three levels while its louvers pull in light from above and filter it throughout the entire space.
