Tillid represents the core belief: "trust in myself, is trust in others." Life is made richer through the connections we make, and to represent this, the frame of the chair is woven with a network of flag halyard, each pass representing an individual act of trust. The concept is that the more we reach out and allow ourselves to trust, again and again, the stronger we get. The [figurative and literal] stress becomes distributed more evenly. The angled seat, which encourages a slightly reclined and relaxed position - conversely makes it difficult to only partially commit if sitting on the edge.
