Affordable housing is such a tough nut to crack. This movable multi-generation low-cost house for a single woman on her father's backyard site has no onsite vehicle access. The design seeks to achieve a sense of space within a tiny footprint. Two click-raft plywood pavilions; 30m2 living/dining/kitchen/bathroom unit linked to a 10m2 bedroom unit. Cladding is a combination of plywood, metal and polycarbonate insulated panels and large double glazed joinery orientated north (sun). Prefabricated at the Makers factory and flat-pack delivered for rapid assembly on site to keep costs low.
