In an old factory building in Barcelona, two apartments become one comfortable family house, with a music room, library and study. The staircase is the protagonist here, a sculptural piece in bleached oak. The staircase organizes the spaces all around, and fluidly becomes storage space, display box and study. Throughout the house, solid oak is mixed with veneer, but solid oak is used wherever you touch, so that over time these elements will become only more beautiful through wear. By fully opening the two facades to an interior courtyard, the house doubles in size outside the Winter season.
